The Story
With high-shine and substantial impact, the Fuliwa Teak Stacking Rings feature a textural wavy effect juxtaposed with a sustainable teak band. Handcrafted by artisans in Kenya with 24k gold plated brass using traditional techniques. Wear solo or stack together for a significant statement. In Swahili, Fuliwa means forged, referring to a type of production or metalwork. Handcrafted in recycled brass by artisans in Kenya using traditional techniques.

More about SOKO and their mission:
I discovered the work of the SOKO artisans while in Nairobi at one of my favorite shops. I learned there that while all the jewels are made by local artisans in Kenya, the organization that fascinates and employs the artisans is based in the USA.
SOKO is based out of San Francisco and is women-led. They created an ethical jewelry brand and tech-powered manufacturing platform to connect artisans in Kenya with the global market (like you and me).
Their purpose is to work towards reducing inequality and poverty, building a healthier environment, stronger communities through the creation of high-quality jobs with dignity and purpose.
I love the contemporary lines and chic design of the artisan work that brings traditional and classic together. They are inspiring and all so wearable!
